Over the years that Russell and Patricia have owned the Melita they have constantly refurbished the rooms priding themselves on quality and attention to detail. Every effort is made to achieve and maintain the highest standards of comfort and more importantly cleanliness.
Children of all ages are welcome. Cots and highchairs are available for the younger guest.
We also welcome well behaved pets. These are charged at £5.00 per night and we ask that you do not leave them in the bedroom whilst out at the theatre. Experience has proved that they are happier in their owners car.
Most of our standard double bedded rooms, and all of our superior rooms are furnished with Emperor sized beds, 6' x 6'3". These are extremely popular with all our clientele.
NB. This is strictly a non- smoking establishment.
The Melita has the following rooms:
1 single with private facilities along the corridor2 singles en suite one being on the ground floor
2 family rooms one en suite, one with private bathroom both on the second floor and each accommodating up to 4 people
1 twin room en suite
1 small double en suite often used as a single
4 standard doubles/twins en suite
3 superior doubles/twins 2 en suite 1 with private bathroom (2 of these rooms are the family rooms)
There are a total of 3 ground floor rooms at the back of the house, 2 of which open out onto the garden.
