The hotel is 350m from the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, restaurants, and shops. The 5 minute level walk to the theatres  is well lit. Your route takes you across the footbridge spanning the beautiful River Avon, with views of Holy Trinity church, and on through Stratfords' wonderful Bancroft gardens to the theatres. During 2008 Stratford's 'Waterside' and the Bancroft gardens will be totally transformed as part of the 'World class Stratford' development costing in excess of £100m

The Melitas' location and on site private car park enables guests to forget about driving for the entire duration of their stay. The private car park is a great asset to the hotel as free parking in Stratford town centre is very limited indeed.
